This is the 3rd instalment of the Oil County web series.

The Mega Buckle Bowl went down with out a hitch today at Lake Louise Ski Resort! A great turn out of riders and spectators alike made for what was without a doubt one super fun day. With any contest there will be winners an losers, but as chesse as it sounds ….. we feel that everyone walked away from todays contest with at least a smile on their face. As for the winners of the product and the money, you can see them listed below along with a few podium photos from our homie Geoff Simpson. Huge thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers that made this rider driven contest possible.

Womens – 3rd Josepha Tanguay, 2nd Kyna Daley, 1st Jessica King

Junior – 1st/2nd/3rd Matteo Massitti.. all other competition decided it wasn’t worth trying to take this kid down

Mens – 3rd Murray Hodgson, 2nd Jonathan Chew, 1st Alex Morris

Lake Louise has been the buzz around town these days, Why? Well, they have done what most other resorts in the Bow Valley are falling real short on…. they built a legit park. It does help that it came in a season that has seen average snowfall… but man it feels good to cruise a park that is made with a little care. This video has a variety of riders putting down a couple tricks in Lake Louise’s newly built ProLine. Go check it out or your blowing it.

On Halloween Redbull brought up some features to a small hill in Banff. The snow wasn’t abundant but the goodtimes were! Hotdogs, burgers and a Lib Trice give away, we  had no complaints.

It’s Tuesday and that means the best night of the week is upon us… Skate Night! Here is a video from last weeks session, everybody had a hell of a time and we hope to see more of you tonight! Things kick off at 9pm at The Hoodoo Lounge in Banff, don’t miss out.

Quick update for all of you who may or may not know what went down last Tuesday at The Hoodoo Lounge in Banff. They bought a mini ramp…. for the bar…. so you can skate….. and have a blast! Everyone there last Tuesday did just that. For all of you out there who were not in attendance… this will be happening EVERY Tuesday and is open to EVERYONE. So if you like to skate, come down, sign a wavier, and do just that. No one cares how good or bad you are, just that your having a good time.
