Well, another month down and another episode of Oil Country to share with the world…. Well mostly Canada from what our statistics say, but we get the odd hit from Iran, so it’s all good. This episode takes place in Edmonton, Alberta. Being consistently cold and snowy, Edmonton is quickly becoming a hot stop for the Urban shred in these parts. Well, here is the start of what we hope will be a great 6 part series! Our pals Logan Fulmer and Evan Lavallee, along with The Source, The Dancing Sasquatch, Vans, and Ekumenik bring you the first official episode of “Oil Country”. The Launch party was last night at the Dancing Sasquatch and it was a hella good time. We would like to thank everyone that came out to show support for their local scene. Enjoy!

Revelstoke Opening Day

As goes with tradition, a crew of us clawed our way trough Rogers Pass for another amazing opening day at RMR. For those of you that have never been.. it was only the first day of the season, so make sure you get out there for at least one this year. For those of you who were there… Sht Chea! What a day. Hello good people of the internet. This evening we are bringing you a video from our own Evan Lavallee and Logan Fulmer. They are working on a sort of side project titled “Oil Country”. These short videos will feature local Alberta shreds and take place, for the most part, in Albertan locations. The first one we bring you for your viewing pleasure takes place pre season in the mean streets of Calgary and a slope side rail at Norquay. Take a look!

The Bauer Brothers

Jake and Josh Bauer have been friends of ours for some time. Having lived in Banff and now residing in Whistler, they have grown to be quite the duo on the snow. Off the snow it is much easier to see their redneck roots, as they grew up in the great metropolis of Acme here in Alberta. Regardless, a bunch of great dudes… and they put this edit together for you all to enjoy…. So watch it!

Fishing

Fishing is the new Snowboarding, right? It seems to be that way out here during the summer. Here at ShtChea we don’t really do a lot during the summer that is worth posting. Most of the time we are too lazy to film our lack luster skateboarding abilities. Getting day drunk in the sun becomes priority for most of us here in Banff. But every now and than one of us gets off our ass to film one of our summer past times, in this case it would be fly fishing. Evan put together these couple of videos during his excursions out in the wild rivers of Alberta. So for those of you who are into fishing, enjoy. For those who don’t give a shit… Someone has probably released some mind blowing part on Transworld or King Snow while you were reading this.
